Special B&W Tea Ceremony with Mooncakes 30/09/2023

This year, we have a double special Mid-autumn festival tea ceremony planned out for you.
We’re so excited to have Anna of Mindful Teas and the Global Japanese Tea Association, returning for another special Black & White Tea Ceremony. She will be sharing with us a fermented black tea (1995) she brought back from her recent stay in Malaysia - Liu Bao Hei Cha, famed for its health benefits and a rich and plump brew. Find out the fascinating journey of this aged Chinese black tea and why its so valued among the Chinese diaspora in Malaysia. 

To mark this special occasion, we’ll serve a very special white tea from Taiwan, and there will also be a tasting of 3 different kinds of our homemade mooncakes at the end. This will be a highlight of 2023!

Este año, hemos organizado una ceremonia doblemente especial para celebrar el festival del medio otoño.
Nos hace mucha ilusión que Anna, de Mindful Teas y de la Global Japanese Tea Association, vuelva para otra ceremonia especial de té blanco y negro. Compartirá con nosotros un té negro fermentado (de 1995) que trajo de su reciente estancia en Malasia: Liu Bao Hei Cha, famoso por sus beneficios para la salud y por su infusión rica y vigorosa. Descubriremos el fascinante viaje de este té negro chino añejo y por qué es tan apreciado entre la diáspora china en Malasia.

Para completar esta ocasión única, serviremos un té blanco muy especial de Taiwán. Y, al final, habrá una degustación de 3 tipos diferentes de nuestros mooncakes caseros. Cada año, nos hace mucha ilusión preparar estos exquisitos pasteles y compartirlos con vosotras. ¡Será uno de los momentos destacados de 2023 en Mellow Sheng!
